Responsibilities
Design and develop SonicWALL's license management backend
Write design and test documents
Work with the QA team to resolve software bugs
Support other teams to resolve customer issues

Requirements
Fluent in English
BS or MS, in CS, EE or related field
Working knowledge of Linux
2+ years of programming experience with Java
Some understanding of the programming paradigms (interpreted vs compiled, procedural vs OO, single vs multiple inheritance, multithreading)
Working knowledge of SQL and relational modeling
Bonus: knowledge of C++, perl, linux shell, XML, servlet, JSP, logging (Log4J, Java logging API), HTML, CSS, design patterns, UML, unit testing, IDE (Eclipse, Netbeans)

This is a supporting role for the Jr.Internet Applications Developer. In this role you will use leading edge Internet and graphical methodologies and technologies to assist in maintaining SonicWALL's internal and external Web properties. Additionally, candidate will be responsible for the support of all application layers to ensure scalability, performance,and modular designs.
Responsibilities
The Jr. Internet Applications Developer's responsibilities will include:
Primary development for a LAMP infrastructure.
Execute to written design documents,test plans,and provide test results.
Develop,integrate and implement related application components,including front-end development,server-side development and database integration.
Play a direct role in programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of the applications.
Implement business logic into HTML/CSS pages; some HTML/CSS development will be required
Coordinate completed projects with Managers for QA
Maintain a personal project schedule and calendar
Keep projects on-track and delivered on-time
Requirements
Candidate will have the following skills & experience:
1-2+ years in mature programming languages and at least 6+ months in the following:
Primary: PHP,JScript/JS,PERL,XML,MySQL,and HTML
Prefer exposure to: Flash 3.x,ASP and MS SQL
Exposure to installation and configuration of the following server platforms.
Apache, MySQL,SVN
IIS and MS SQL experience a plus
Experience with Content Management Systems like RedDot or TeamSite

Efficient time management skills

Excellent communications, writing, and editing skills

Ability to prioritize and work in an energetic & fast paced environment is needed

Self-starter and quick learner

Previous experience supporting a corporate website is a plus
