POSITION SUMMARY

Execute supplier development responsibility in WAI China including supplier audit, assessment, production validation/approval, supplier development, quality issues resolution and improvement. Report to China Supply Chain Management Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Conduct new supplier assessments.

2.Perform supplier quality assurance effort through APQP and PPAP processes, effective application of statistical analysis techniques in reference to TS16949 and QS9000 requirements. Manage outgoing inspection processes working with manufacturing supplier

3.Conduct Supplier Quality Systems Review, process/product audits on a scheduled time line to provide ongoing quality assurance and drive improvement.

4.Perform supplier development, remove waste from the value stream and improve supply chain efficiency.

5.Perform quality improvement efforts. Responsible for customer complaints, work with suppliers for trouble shooting, corrective actions and non-confirming return.

6.Liaison with customers on customers' audit, customer quality issues, customer sample approval and customers' specification compliance;

7.Ensure product quality compliance with national and international standards and legislation, considering the application of environmental and health and safety standards;

8.Implement and maintain quality rules and procedures

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

1.Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Master degree preferred. Experience and ability to interpret engineering drawings

2.Familiar with TS16949 and knowledge or experience in electric motor manufacturing.

3.Application of Six Sigma tools, Lean principle, and FMEA. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.

4.Good project Management, communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated skills in problem solving. Analytical, structured way of thinking.

5.Flexibility and mobility, willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%

6.Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin

7.Highest standard of integrity, self-confident and disciplined. Organized with attention to details. Strong sense of responsibility

8.Good at MS office- excel, ppt and so on.
