IT engineers (Suzhou)Prediktor is the world’s leading independent supplier of real-time IT solutions for thePV (photovoltaic) manufacturing industry. We provide solutions and services for polysilicon-,ingot-, wafer-, and cell fabrication. Our aim is to always support our customersin achieving optimal production conditions, real-time plant status, fast productionramp-up and full traceability in an increasingly competitive PV manufacturing industry.Our APIS software suite handles online- and historical process data storage, productiontracking of materials, operator interaction as well as production reporting for optimizingoperating performance based on performance indicators, such as OEE and resourceutilization.Prediktor’s head-office is located in Fredrikstad, Norway. In addition Prediktor also hassubsidiaries in Germany, Singapore and China. For our new Chinese headquarter in Suzhouwe are now searching for candidates to join the Prediktor-team. Our focus will be to supportthe rapidly growing PV manufacturing industry in mainland China and Taiwan.Initially we want to recruit 8-10 IT graduates to work on our delivery projects and for supportactivities related to completed installations within the PV industry.Your responsibilities:• Assist in sales processes and being involved in specification work together with ourcustomers for specifying functionalities to be delivered• Configuration of industrial IT solutions based on specifications and Prediktor’s APISsoftware suite• Implementation, testing and commissioning of APIS systemsWhat we expect from you:We are looking for ambitious IT engineers (or information technology graduates) withleadership potential. Preferably, you should possess a majority of the following qualifications:• A university master degree within IT (practical and relevant workexperience/internships during university holidays is highly valued)• Proven knowledge of SQL, preferably MS SQL Server• Good knowledge of C or C# in MS Visual Studio .net• Good knowledge of realtime systems and technology• Good knowledge of process control or production/manufacturing technology• Good English language skills (critical: spoken language skills)• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities• Have a positive "can do" attitude and the ability to get things done• High level of mobility and willingness to work and live in changing environments• International mindset, open to new cultures and multicultural work environmentsWhat you can expect from us:We offer a competitive salary.
