We service a broad range of process industries, including alumina, coal, nickel, oil and gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, power, steel and sugar. Since 1972 we have been making customer ideas a reality across the globe. We engineer solutions that add value by achieving a higher grade product, increasing plant capacity or reducing the environmental impact of a process. This may include developing pilot and demonstration scale plants to prove new industrial processes. We foster multiple long term strategic partnerships with international technology leaders, fabricators and customers. For example, we are currently maintaining fabrication alliances in Australia, China, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore and Saudi Arabia. The Jord Environment Trust ("JET") was established in 2007 with a charter to donate funds to international causes that help foster a biologically diverse and sustainable planet. The fund is managed on a voluntary basis by Jord staff. The brief is to grow the fund's capital over time, and to periodically distribute income generated from this capital to environmentally related causes that fall within set guidelines. To help foster the continued growth of our business we are establishing a Process Technology group to look at new and emerging technologies. There will be particular emphasis on technologies that increase the productivity of resources used in a process so that energy inputs are minimized and greenhouse emissions reduced ("green productivity"). We will have vacancies for eight high-qualified Engineers to work in this group. The roles will include: - 4 Process Application Engineers - 2 Product and Process Improvement Engineers - 2 Green Productivity Auditors The selection criteria will be based on: - Postgraduate and/or graduate qualifications - Strong project management capabilities - Demonstrate innovation and ability to resolve problems creatively - Possess good communication and interpersonal skills - Availability to travel or residence change Previous proven background in a similar environment and role function will be taken into account.
