We seek research scientists to construct sophisticated quantitative models to predict the movements of the worldwide stock markets. Candidates need not have prior knowledge of stock markets or experience working in the financial industry, but must have a strong interest in learning about worldwide financial markets. Our highly accomplished senior staff will provide the new hirers with mentoring and guidance to help them succeed in the research of their own profitable trading strategies.

Candidates for the research scientist position must:

· Be graduating in 2009 from Chinas best universities (top 2 universities only) in a highly analytical field, such as:

Engineering
Mathematics
Physics
Computer Science
or any other field that is highly analytical and quantitative

· Have a research scientist mindset, i.e., be a deep thinker, creative, persevering, smart, a self-starter, etc.

· Understand English

· Have a strong interest in learning about worldwide financial markets

· Be competent in a programming language (C++ or C)

· Have a strong work ethic -- successful candidates will actively be engaged in research projects for 12 or more hours a day (although they do not need to be physically present in the office for all those hours)
