Role Description:
The role of buyer is to implement and execute IDM purchase of the company.
Responsibilities:
Quotation reference from supplier
Vendor Selection (AVL, 3 vendors comparison, bidding)
Place P.O
Review purchase contract
Purchase status tracking
GR (goods receive) in Baan
Payment forecast
Payment application to Finance
NDA
Support project in terms of purchasing qualified, timely & cost efficient material, service and equipment etc.
Internal Interfaces:
Purchase item user function in the company
Logistic and project financial control team of Business Administration department
Finance Department
Legal Counsel (HK)
Global Procurement Teams
External Interface:
Suppliers
Basic Requirements:
At least 3 years experience in purchasing area in mobile industry
Bachelor degree above
Skill & Knowledge (Techniques/Technologies/Methodologies)
Knowledge in purchase process
Knowledge in purchase items used in mobile development
Excellent communication skill, including English, presentation and negotiation
Key performance indicators:
Unit price down
Ensure on-time (as per buyer committed time frame in process) delivery of purchase items per user’s spec
