International trainee programme Become a future leader in Jotun

In our international trainee programme we are looking for highly motivated individuals who have the potential to become future leaders in Jotun.

Jotun is growing fast all over the world, and to continue our ambition of further growth and development, the major challenge is competent employees.

Jotun's International Trainee Programme is one important tool in meeting this challenge.

Establishing and doing business in an increasing number of countries has been a characteristic of Jotun for more than 40 years. The trainees will be taken through a challenging and exciting journey in different parts of our organisation and experience working with colleagues and customers from a diversity of cultures.

The trainees will be assigned to various divisions, in several countries, and get a broad picture of the whole business as well as specific competence in selected trades. Jotun offers challenging work assignments complemented by a learning component. The combination of pratical work experience, formal training and support from our Trainee Coordinator provides the trainees with a unique opportunity to develop and assume challenging responsibilities withing the Jotun company.

Jotun is looking for young talents for an 18-month individual trainee programme. We will give this opportunity to highly qualified candidates that we believe can make a difference to the future development of Jotun.

Jotun's International Trainee Programme will take the trainees through a challenging and exciting journey in different parts of our organisation. They will experience working with colleagues and customers from a diversity of cultures and nationalities. Establishing and doing business in an increasing number of countries has been a characteristic of Jotun for more than 40 years. Candidates for our trainee programme must have the ambition to pursue this culture of innovation and adaptability.

Selected candidates will be given specific tasks and assignments throughout the traineeship. This will form a good basis for a further career within Jotun after the trainee programme.

Trainee positions 2009 Become a future leader in Jotun

In our International Trainee Programme we are looking for highly motivated talents, with the potential to become future leaders in Jotun. As an International Trainee with us you will be employed by your local Jotun company. During the 18 months programme you will have two assignments abroad. After the programme you will return to your home company and the position you initially was employed into.

Deadline is December 1st, 2008 with Trainee start-up August 2009.

In 2009 we have 9 trainee positions within different professions and locations.

To show us which of the Trainee positions you are most interested in, we strongly encourage you not to apply for more than one position. You can still be considered for other trainee positions within the country/region.

In our international trainee programme we are looking for highly motivated
individuals who have the potential to become future leaders in Jotun.
We are looking for:

Graduates with an academic degree (Bachelor and/or preferably a Masters degree).

Personal skills such as initiative, independence, ability to build networks, exceptional communication and analytical skills, as well as leadership potential.

Excellent English skills, preferably also another language.
