Sr Telecom Software Development Engineer (J2EE/SIP/Database Experience)

Responsibilities:
You will be a member of the software DEV team. As a member of the Communications Global Business Unit, your job is to create high performance and scalable code for the telecom network elements.
¤Design detail architecture for a module or a package following high level architecture decided by Chief architect
¤Write functional and technical specifications for product features
¤Code and unit test product features
¤Diagnose and fix product problems/bugs
¤Review product documentation
¤Provide input to QA team on design and development of system tests
Qualifications:
¤3~5 years of commercial software development experience on preference in telecom domain (Telecom operator, Telecom equipment supplier…etc)
¤Detailed knowledge of SIP and IMS
¤Knowledge of the SIP Servlet API (JSR116/289).
¤High proficiency in J2EE programming including RMI, JDBC, JMS
¤Detailed knowledge of Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) programming
¤Knowledge of Relational database and SQL programming
¤Experience with UNIX (one of Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX) and Windows
¤Strong verbal and written English skills
Preferred Qualifications:
¤Solid experience with Java (or equivalent) in the industry with the ability to write maintainable test code.
¤Knowledge of VoIP related standards, specifically the SIP protocol (RFC 2543, 3261, 3262, 3265, 3428).
¤Experience with analyzing and troubleshooting product problems.
¤Solid UNIX environment experience.
¤Experience with JAIN/SLEE, JAIN/SIP.
¤Experience with other Java tools such as Findbugs and code coverage solutions.
¤Good experience with CORBA/JAVA commercial project development
¤Working knowledge in J2EE Web applications.
¤Excellent oral and written communication skills.
¤Have good time management skills.
¤Demonstrated ability to be effective in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
¤An effective team player.

Education Requirements:
¤MS/PhD Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

Test Development Engineer

Responsibilities:
You will be a member of the software QA team, and involved in each stage of the product development lifecycle. Specific duties include:
¤Review Product Requirement Document (PRD) and function specification, create test plan according to the requirements.
¤Design test cases, write test design specifications based on feature functional specifications, do test development to implement and automate test cases.
¤Execute testing cases automatically and/or manually, analyze test results, and diagnose failures.
¤Report testing status to management.
¤Review user manuals and propose changes according to test results.
¤Continuously improve test efficiency and quality assurance processes.
¤Learn new technologies.
Qualifications:
¤Expert of the QA process/standard and full lifecycle QA methodology of software product development.
¤Strong Java program development skills (2 years+) based on Unix/Windows. Master the development toolkits, including ANT, XML, Python, maven, eclipse etc.
¤Hands on Shell/Python programming experience (2 year+).
¤Knowledge on telecommunication technology, e.g. IN, PSTN, Mobile networks, IMS/SIP
¤Strong technical background on multiple platforms, e.g. SUN Solaris, HP_UX, Red Hat, AIX, Windows systems, etc. Understanding the difference and can do basic system administration.
¤Good communication skills both in English (CET-6 is preferred) and Chinese.
Preferred Qualifications:
¤Experience with WebLogic Server, enterprise client/server programming
¤Experience with SPRING, STAF/STAX; Hands on experience with establishing test infrastructure and test automation using open source or commercial test tools.
¤Experience with relational database systems, Oracle products (Oracle 10g, Oracle 10g RAC) is preferred.
¤Strong debugging and development skills on UNIX and NT.
¤Experience with developing system-level middleware products.

Education Requirements:
BS or MS in Computer Science or related field of education
