System Validation Engineer (SVT Team)
Vacancy: 1

Role Responsibility:
Work as one validation engineer inside system validation team. Mainly focus on validation (ACG905/901 product) and SV web building technology support . His/Her responsibility is to design test cases basing on the product requirement (STR, STD), to perform the validation case by case and tracking the bugs reported to bug system. To ensure no bug is missing on her hand.

Education Background required:
Master Degree

Skill Required:
1: Strong web knowledge (page design and database building)..
2: DVB background is a good plus.
3. Good writing English and workable verbal English.

Others:
Can be well integrated into the group. Be willing to accept help from others while necessary and be glad to support others while requested.

System Tools&Support Engineer (SVT Team)

Role Responsibility:
We are involved in the different stages of a product life cycle to guarantee our Digital TV (Cable, Satellite, Terrestrial and IP) STB products and Cable Gateway products which are developed, maintained according to the applicable quality standards, guidelines and regulations, and to provide well-documented evidences of the productions quality.

Job description:
- Develop test cases to ensure the product’s conformance to requirements, standards.
- Participate in testing and validating the product from system level and performing test coverage analysis.
- Developing tools to support our products testing activities, such as automation test tools and test scripts....

Education Background required:
- Bachelor/MS degree above in Electrical or Communication engineering or Computer Science

Skill Required:
- Solid background in digtal communication theory and information theory.
- Solid background in Network and TCP/IP theory.

Others:
- Knowledge of DOCSIS/EuroDOCSIS, PacketCable is a good plus.

Software Integration Test Engineer (ET CC Team)

Period: from September 2008 to December 2008

Job description:
- Participate in DVB Set-Top-Box system software integration test and system validation.
- Setup test environment, strictly perform test cases according to the integration test plan, and involve in the integration test report for each released software version.
- Track and verify defects, follow the software development process and report to Project Manager.

Education Background required:
- Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical or Communication engineering or Computer Science.

Skill Required:
- Be familiar with MPEG/DVB standards and IP protocols (RTSP/RTP/RTCP).
- Experience on STB system development and testing.
- Be familiar with software system test process.
- High degree of initiative and responsibility.
- Good English writing: Mandatory.
- Experience in Linux kernel software development is a good plus.

Others:
- At least 3 work days each week
