POSITION BRIEFCompany Background Our client is the holding company for the U.S. and Canadian-based operations of their global group. The company manufactures a range of building products, high-performance materials and glass containers at 180 plants throughout North America. The company is also a distributor of building materials, with more than 150 outlets throughout the United States. Our client’s corporation employs approximately 24,000 people all around the world. Position: Research Engineer (XRD) - Structural Analysis LabLocation: ShanghaiJob Responsibility - Design and build the SOP and SOM for specified equipments (XRD/SEM) in structural lab; maintain the lab equipments in a good standard and in a safe way. - Conduct application tests and experiments for internal/external customers.- Ensure laboratory work is completed consistently, accurately and reproducibly to generate data that meets customer requirements.- Identify and learn new testing methods and testing apparatus that can help with customers or R&D projects.- Provide training for technicians and operators in structural lab. Position: Mechanical Design Research Engineer - TribologyLocation: ShanghaiJob Responsibility - Design the Tribology test plan and guideline to Technician to run tribology test at lab - Communicate with Bearings business to understand their needs for development- Documentation and other misc. work Qualifications - Master degree and above, major in Mechanical Design and Theory (Tribology is preferred)- Minimum 2 years working experience in a bearings company is preferred- Be familiar with Journal bearing tester, Thrust washer tester, Salt spray chamber, press- English: Fluent technical communication with native speakers; good command in report writing and assessment - Strong interpersonal and communication skill- Self motivated, able to deliver good performance under pressure - Good communication skill, team player, result-oriented- Responsible, careful and organized POSITION BRIEFCompany Background Our client is the holding company for the U.S. and Canadian-based operations of their global group. Position: Polymer Processing Research Engineer (高分子加工实验室工程师)Location: ShanghaiJob Responsibility - Operate equipments skillfully and in charge of all the polymer processing equipments.- Develop new process combinations through combining technical knowledge with processing knowledge.- Cooperate with other engineers and technicians, participates in projects in order to provide support to R&D group and deliver reports to business needs. - Conducts researches and developments on polymer processing, direct project plans and coordinates the implementation of approved plans.- Provide training for technicians in lab, engineers in business group and workers in plant.- EHS arranging and maintenance.
