Description of main roles

- Provide microbiological support to local foods product development team and QA

- Provide microbiological support to global supply chain for foods ingredients

- Provide microbiological support to local and global foods projects

- Build network with local operational business foods – Product development and QA factories

Description of main responsibilities

- Set up, validate and apply microbiological species identification methods

- Microbiological assessment of foods ingredients, test products and final food products

- Perform microbiological tests, analyze results and write report on results

- Develop and apply research strategies for existing and new working areas

- Identify key technical challenges in the working area of foods

- Build strong technical expertise base in the working area of foods

Professional Skills:

Skills/Competencies/Education background Requirements

- MSc in Microbiology is essential

- PhD in Microbiological Safety Assessment Foods is welcome

- Experience with microbiological screening methods is essential

- Experience with screening preservative systems is welcome

- Experience with microbiological safety assessment foods is welcome

- Teamworker, Networker, pro-active

- Self-motivated & able to work independently

- Good communication skills

Proficient in both written and spoken Chinese and English
