What is the price you need to pay? l Incredibly low starting salary l Just RMB780 for those who fully meet our requirement l Even no basic salary for those who do not fully meet our requirement l Extremely high working pressure l Little personal time, you are expected to spend 40 after office hour per week to watch English TV program, that means you would not have any holiday. l Face harsh criticism and have little recognition for your effort. If you are looking for a post with high salary, light workload and have lots of personal time, please DO NOT APPLY. We are a translation and consulting firm with following vacancies: Customer service officer Duty: To liaise with HK client, esp. corporate finance and banking client over the phone and communicate with our translators. Requirement: Able to read and write in English Cantonese speaking Willing to face tremendous pressure, Work for very long hours, maybe over 15 hrs. per day in peak season Willing to work overnight continuously for several days during April Willing to work overtime on weekend and public holiday Willing to accept very serious penalty if you commit serious mistake Who should apply? Those with certain English standard and eager to find a working environment with high pressure to force you to improve English. Those who regard they are not too smart, yet eager to improve themselves Who should NOT apply? Those who are looking for a normal job, i.e. with normal working hour, able to decide how to spend their personal time, with a decent salary from day 1. Translator Duty: Responsible for translating corporate finance, i.e. listed company document, market commentary, i.e. Analyst report on the share price, foreign exchange etc., press release from public relation agency etc. Who should apply? l Those who is dedicated to spend their lifetime to work as financial translator. l Those who cannot think of any reason why they do not want to work on foreign trade, civil servant, English teacher, please do not apply. l Those who is willing to try their best to learn what we required them to learn, which means spend up to over 40 hours per week of after office hour to watch English TV program and read related material, which means you would not have any time to read any books you would like to read, you would not have time to meet your friend, you would not be able to enjoy a normal social life. l Those who do not mind to accept a shockingly low salary before you can perform. l Our starting salary is RMB780, for those who is not very hard working nor very smart, usually, they cannot earn more than RMB1000 for the first 6 months, this is significantly below market rate, if you are not willing to accept a job which is significantly less than what your classmate earn, please do not apply. l You need to work for very long working hours, work on weekend and public holiday, work overnight in peak season. l Generally, our current colleague English is not good enough to be interpreter, therefore, mainly we focus on written translation, i.e. you need to sit in front of a PC with no one talking to you, with no chance to get out of the office. If you are looking for a job with lots of exposure, to mingle with foreigners, to work as verbal interpreter, then please do not apply. Consultant Duty: To build a portal to help foreign buyers to source product in wholesale market in China and to help Chinese manufacturers to sell their products to overseas market by search engine optimization. Requirement: Good English and Chinese writing skill Willing to spend lots of time on writing article Eager to develop excellent information searching skill Willing to face tremendous pressure Intern We offer internship for those who is eager to learn.
