Position: Technical Writer

Responsibilities:
1. Editing/rewriting/writing documentation, including printed materials and electronic help, according to company guidelines.
2. Sending documentation through review, meeting with content experts and documentation group leaders to discuss documentation content and project status.
3. Preparing information for publishing and evaluating industry tools and trends.
4. Working with project managers and engineers to improve the usability of products.
5. Taking on short-term training and work assignments at National Instruments corporate headquarters in Austin.

Requirements:
1. B.A. or above in English or other majors with writing emphasis
2. Strong interest in computers and technology
3. Coursework in mathematics and/or science
4. Strong verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal skills
5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
6. Persistence and initiative
7. Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities
8. Experience with word processing software (MS Word, Adobe FrameMaker, etc.)
