Intern for IBM CDL PFE Shanghai

IBM CDL PFE Shanghai team is opening 1 intern position for 2009 graduates, who can work 4 days a week for at least half a year.

Role: Product Field Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Provide action plans to recover machines and identify pervasive problems Provide TIPS/SYMPTOM FIX, documentation, and code or hardware fixes to resolve customer problems. Work in concert with the field Project Office to resolve customer complaints

Collaborate with Service Planning to develop technical or service strategies Engage development only if assistance is needed

Job Requirements:

Bechelor Degree (minimum) of Computer Science or Computer Engineering major.

Understanding of System/390 and/or Open System Hosts.

Understanding of DS8000, DS6000, and Legacy (E/F/800) functions and hardware.

Technical problem debugging skill and pattern recognition.

Debug system knowledge and skills using debug system to search/report/analyze/track bugs.

Team work and coordination skills.

English Language Proficiency (Advanced or Fluent) (minimum of CET-6)
