上海外高桥现代服务贸易发展有限公司的前身上海保税商品交易市场成立于1995年9月19日，2004年8月改制为有限责任公司，注册资本为5000万元人民币。根据上海外高桥（集团）有限公司功能定位部署要求，2006年3月正式更名为：“上海外高桥现代服务贸易发展有限公司”。
公司注册在上海外高桥保税区，董事长李云章、监事长程放、总经理孙惠定。公司经营范围包括保税区内商品的展示、交易、物流、加工, 市场管理, 招商考察, 房屋租赁，商务咨询、技术与经济信息咨询、投资咨询、财务咨询、物业咨询等配套服务及服务贸易; 从事货物的进出口和技术进出口业务;附设分支机构等。公司还在外高桥保税区物流园区设立了物流分公司，其经营范围为：保税物流园区内的物流业务。

With its predecessor Shanghai Bonded Commodities Trade Market, the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Modern Service Trade Development Co., LTD, was established on Nov.19, 1995, and reorganized to a company limited in August 2004 with the registered capital amounting to RMB50 million. In accordance with the requirements of functional positioning arrangement of the Shanghai Waigaoqiao (Group) Co., LTD, the Company was renamed as the “Shanghai Waigaoqiao Modern Service Trade Development Co., LTD”.
The Company is registered at Shanghai Free Trade Zone with Li Yunzhang, the Chairman of Board of Directors, Chengfang, Chairman of Board of Supervisors and Sun Huiding, the general manager, its business scope involves the following: exhibition of commodities, transactions, logistics, processing, market management, investigation of invited investors，real estate lease, commercial consultation, consulting services for technical and economic information, investment consultation, financial consultation, property consultation and other matching services and service trade etc in the Zone; it is also engaged in the business of import and export of commodities and technique and establishment of branches etc. Logistics Branch Company has also been set in the Logistics Park of the Zone with its business scope being the logistics services in Park.
