Internship offer

Intel, the worlds largest manufacturer of microprocessors, is also a leading
manufacturer of computer, networking and communications products and a provi
der of infrastructure to and services for the world-wide Internet economy.

We are seeking a qualified intern for our Corporate Marketing Research Depart
ment, to work in our China Sales and Marketing Headquarters in Beijing, China
. This position involves primary and secondary market research projects, invo
lving brand development research, tracking programs to understand market deve
lopments, as well as the development of detailed country overviews.

The key activities of this Internship will include:
- Updating existing databases
- Assisting Intel Marketing Research Team members in the design and setup of
primary research projects
- Working with 3rd party suppliers to manage the fieldwork, data purchasing p
rocess and other key project logistics
- Analyzing the data collected from these studies
- Preparing presentations to share the results with other functions within In
tel
- Presenting the results
- Aggregating country details available to date
- The analysis and presentation of secondary data purchased by Intel corporat
ion

A successful candidate will have a superior background in statistical analyse
s and a basic understanding of the principles of marketing. Experience in the
IT industry as well as previous work experience ?ideally in the marketing r
esearch field ?will be a plus.

Skills

The right candidate for this internship will be comfortable working in a self
-directed environment. He/she will also possess excellent written and verbal
communication skills in both English and Chinese; demonstrate strong analytic
al ability and a good knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint. Experience with data
analysis software such as SPSS is required.

Requirements:
?A minimum of three years University study of mathematics/statistics, market
ing, social sciences, economics or business with focus on marketing research
is required.
?Fluent written and spoken English is essential as the working environment at Intel Beijing is English.
?Number of work days per week: Minimum of 4
?Duration of the Internship: Minimum of 6 months.

Location: Intel China Ltd, Beijing Kerry Centre, 1 Guanghua Lu, Chaoyang.
