Job Responsibilities

Define problem for customer. Generate outline of list of tasks to be completed for and to satisfy customer.

Provide support to customers in resolving issues/problems to help them maximize the performance and use of ASML products. Document procedures and processes to aid customers in use of ASML products.

Guide customers in experimentation to ensure that they are performed in an efficient manner for accuracy. Conduct data analysis to ensure that the correct conclusions are drawn from customers acquired experimental data and results reported to ASML.

Organize and maintain short and long range testing to acquire new information on new, advanced techniques/technology of interest to ASML and customers.

Meet with customers and/or manager (internal) to maintain two-way level of commitment to keep all involved and affected parties informed of progress.

Prepare presentations to provide new user support and assists sales in technical presentations.

Job Requirements

Specialized knowledge / technical specialist. Higher vocational education preferably electrical or chemical with extended direct wafer fabrication experience (> 12 years) or Postgraduate-level with experience (> 10 years).

Sector Information:

The sector Customer Support is responsible for the installation, qualification and running of ASML systems at customer locations.

It is also responsible for the transfer of essential know-how to customers.

Job Description:

Monitor operations, maintenance, installation and repair of ASML lithography equipments which are installed at client s site. Function as an interface between ASML and the customer.

Trouble shooting and maintenance: Analyzes and diagnoses problems, takes care of necessary repairs and carries out preventive maintenance.

Installs machines on-site for customers; unpacks components, inspects them for damage, assembles, regulates and tests the systems;

Answers the customer s questions and provides him with professional support.

Advises the customer how to take action to correct defects/malfunction and, if necessary, makes recommendations about procedures for using the machine.

Takes care of the administrative side of things such as reporting.

Requirements:

Education back ground: BS, MS

Language: Business level of Japanese and basic English are required

More than two years of support engineer experiences of precision machines.

Working experience in semiconductor industry and maintenance of industrial machines　preferred.

Human skill: communication skill, flexibility, motivation and cooperativeness are required

Flexibility for location

Will be requested to travel around Japan and overseas.
