Unix Workstation Engineer

Beijing Location
12 months+ Contract

Essential Skills:

· Excellent experience for Sun Workstation hardware troubleshooting
· Excellent experience of Solaris/Linux OS
· Certificate Sun Systems Administrator and Certificate Sun Network administrator
· Excellent fault diagnosis and problem solving skills
· Ability to write and troubleshoot Shell Programs
· Advanced understand of Network routing and topology
· Great communication skills and team work
· Punctual, reliable and responsible

Desired Qualifications:
· Sun Workstation support experience

Responsibilities:
· Based at our head office in Beijing, the position is primary to support Sun Unix Workstation in BJ
· Sun Workstation hardware troubleshooting
· Sun Solaris system and software troubleshooting
· Ideas CAD tool client troubleshooting
· Install, upgrade Unix OS and applications
· Install, upgrade and remove application packaging or system patch
· Configure NIS, NFS client on Workstation
· Workstation daily health check
· Work with other team members/groups to ensure successful delivery of solutions to meet the users requirement.
· Work un-supervised, under pressure
