Position 1: Software designer in OAM Platform system monitoring team

Responsibilities

. Responsible for the product development and support of OAM FrameWork, focusing on system level software development

. Analyse functional requirements and implement new features.

. Provide support of developed products throughout the release cycle.

. Provide development estimates for release planning and activity planning.

. Work with other global Nortel teams as required

. Execute the quality processes to ensure customer satisfaction with all product deliverables.

Skills Required

. Bachelor Degree above in related area, 1-3 years experience

. Strong Knowledge and experience of OO design.

. Strong coding skill in Unix Shell programming and C++

. Strong communication skill

Fluent in Chinese and English

. Strong analytical and problem solving skill

. Experience of Unix OS development

. Knowledge and experience in software development process.

. Database knowledge is a plus

. Sun hardware and Sun Management Center knowledge is a plus

Position 2: Software designer in OAM Platform installation/upgrade team

Responsibilities

• Responsible for CMP (Common Management Platform) & CHE (Common Hosting Environment) product development/support.

• Analyze functional requirements and implement new features.

• Provide support of developed products throughout the release cycle.

• Work with other global teams as required.

• Execute the quality processes to ensure customer satisfaction with all product deliverables.

Skills & Knowledge Required

• Strong analytical/problem solving capabilities with proven software development/debugging skills.

• Motivated, demonstrated initiative and display of a can-do attitude, team player.

• Strong communication skill.

Flucent in Chinese and English

• Strong Solaris system level API/shell scripting programming skills. Good understanding of Solaris OS / administration.

• Knowledge on Java/Ajax/XML/Web Service/C++ is required.

• Knowledge on UML and OOAD is desired.

Education /Working Experience

• Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Engineering/Sciences or equivalent field

• At least 2 years S/W development experiences or equivalent telecom industry working experiences

Position 3: Software designer in OAM Platform application team

1) Infra (OS Encapsulation/BSP/BSP driver) Software Engineer

Location: Shanghai

Job Description:
Responsible for develop BSP/BSP driver for telecom/datacom equipment.

Job Requirements:
You should be experienced in multi-task RTOS (VxWorks preferred), C/C++,
embedded system and be good at any of the following:
Developing of BSP of Micro-Processor (PowerPC is preferred)
Developing of I2C, EEPROM, flash driver, etc
Over 3 years development experience based on VxWorks
Experience in developing of memoryl management, inter-application communications, system diagnostics, etc

2) (SDH/MSTP）System Test/Software Test Engineer

Location: Shanghai

Job Description:
Verification on software and system function during product development. Monitor and evaluate system quality.
Take part in product requirement design. Develop test case according to protocol. Solve problems together with HW/SW engineer.

Job Requirements:
Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or Communication technology or Electrical technology
A strong background in SDH, RPR, IP technologies is a MUST.
Good quality consciousness, team work spirit, interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated and initiative
Open minded and willing to take any challenge
Experienced in telecom product System Testing (analytical approach to reproduce errors, problem reporting, generation of specifications based on system requirements)
Good speaking and writing skills in both Chinese and English
