Title: Industry Affairs Executive

Report to: GAPA Lead，China

Department: Government Affairs & Public Affairs

Location: Beijing

Key Relationships:External: Industry Association, government, media, Advertising Agencies, PR Agencies, Academies, Farmers Associations, Scientists and Other Related Stakeholders.
Internal: GAPA, RA, FTO Team, TD, R&D, Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance

Responsibility:

Assist and work with GAPA Lead to improve the company’s relations with the public, industry, stakeholders, build and maintain a positive public environment and supports from key stakeholders for Monsanto products/technology.

Accountability:

1.Assist GAPA Lead to develop and maintain the relationship with industry association, academies, government, media and other related stakeholders;

2.Help coordinate public relations and goodwill programs, media workshops, press releases, trade shows and seminars, etc.;

3.Collect information both internally and externally so as to maintain Monsanto China Website and Life Science Bulletin;

4.Assist in drafting, editing and translating news articles;

5.Distribute PR journals to internal and external stakeholders;

6.Other ad hoc assigned work.

Personal Attributes and Competencies:

1.Bachelor degree. Major in English and 1 – 2 years related working experience would be a plus.

2.Being fluent and articulate in both Chinese and English.

3.Being proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.

4.Good interpersonal skills and communication skills.

5.Good teamwork.
