You will promote VirtualLogix product VirtualLogix OSware during pre-sales and post-sales activities, together with Sales and Business development managers.

If you are result oriented, have great technical account management skills and willing to travel (U.S., EMEA) and if you are a self-starter who is comfortable in an evolving environment we would like to talk to you.

Primary Responsibilities

- As a Field Application Engineer, you will provide ongoing technical support for the leading VirtualLogix customer throughout their product definition, design and prototype phase.
- VirtualLogix target markets include Telecom Equipment, Handset, Set-top box, CPE and other Car Navigation System vendors.
- You will understand the customer’s application and end products to propose solutions for their needs.
- Together with the account manager, you will develop close relationships with the customer R&D management and ensure VirtualLogix early involvement in the customer’s system architecture design phase.
- You will work closely with Product Manager, Account Manager, Business Development and Sales Management, to maximise chances of success and customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements and Qualifications

- You are an Engineering graduate, ideally specialising in Computer science or Electronics and have solid experience in the development of embedded system software in connection with the telecommunication and embedded market.
- You have a background and working knowledge in one of these fields:
a) Embedded RTOS like Embedded Linux, Nucleus, TI DSP/BIOS, VxWorks, Thread-x, etc…
b) Audio and video codec, like MPEG2, MPEG4, H.263, H.264, MP3 etc…
c) CPUs, like ARM, TI DSP, x86, PPC, etc…
- You have at least 5 years experience in Pre-and post-sales support. Experience in Technical account management in the target markets will be appreciated.
- You are an excellent communicator, motivated to work in a dynamic sales environment, fluent in English (French appreciated), with effective presentation skills and experience of dealing with C-level management teams of target customers.
