GENERAL SUMMARY

Be responsible for the technical support on projects in the cooling towers. This generally includes cooling tower selection and design, technical support for outsourcing, sales, project management, product, service, installation and etc.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

The Technical Engineer will be accountable for the following:
• Cooling tower selection and design for both commercial and industrial project.
• Provide technical support to the project work.
• Reviewed project data and planed feasibility in accordance with codes and standards.
• Negotiated with clients, construction teams and installation groups.
• Provided technical expertise at construction site.
• Provide technical support to Outsourcing, Sales, Engineering, Products, and Service Department.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification

• Bachelor degree in Mechanics, Environmental Engineering, Civil or Cooling Technology related field.
• Practical working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Solid modeling experience with programs like Solid Edge, Solid Works, Pro Engineer
• Knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication details and fiberglass design and manufacturing details is preferable
• Solid computer based design knowledge or experience
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as necessary.
• Proficiency in performing and checking calculations and drawings.
• Proficiency in preparing specifications and technical reports.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills with ability to work in a team environment and develop strong internal and external relationships.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
