职位描述
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Providing level 1 (user and workstation issues) service desk support at client sites, remotely and over the telephone;
• Diagnosing, resolving/escalating, following-up and closing client IT problems by applying appropriate solutions to achieve service restoration;
• Communicating with third parties (e.g. Telecommunications Providers, Internet Service Providers and Hardware/Software Vendors) during problem resolutions;
• Communicating with Sales Executives (client account managers) as appropriate;
• Escalating level 2 issues (server, business application and networking) to internal team members and management as appropriate;
• Ensuring that client issues are satisfactorily resolved and “case tickets” closed in a timely manner;
• Appropriate handling of internal service desk systems, policies, procedures and work instructions to ensure continuous improvement of services.

Skills and qualifications required:
• Good communication skills in both Chinese and English (speaking, reading and writing);
• Positive, results oriented and customer focused attitude;
• Minimum 12 months technical experience with strong support/implementation of Microsoft Windows 2000/XP
Workstations and Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Servers. Including good knowledge of MS Exchange 20003
Server, MS ISA Server, and recognized backup and anti-virus software (e.g. Symantec, Computer Associates or Trend Micro);
• Minimum 12 months experience in supporting, implementing or administering a local area network (LAN) environment;
• Ability to perform remote diagnostics and administration or workstations and servers;
• Experience with wide area networking (WAN), Citrix Presentation Server, Cisco (or equivalent networking) and firewall technology would be an advantage. Candidates with strong skills in these specific areas should highlight their work experience on their CV’s and/or covering letter;
• Tertiary qualified and industry certified (e.g. Microsoft MCSE) candidates are highly preferred.
