Position
National Legal Counsel

Key activities

• Provide legal services, including contract review, legal consultation, lawsuit, etc
• Cooperate closely to get preferential treatment
• Communicate adequately to push third party provide qualified legal services to meet COMPANY needs
• Study and develop legal strategy to meet COMPANY business development needs, including lawsuit regulations, non-lawsuit regulations and internal assessment system
• Exam and approve relevant legal affairs in business activities and provide legal comments and suggestions
• Review and modify standard business contract template, components and legal clauses design
• Review non-standard contract, including business and non-business, to control the contract risks
• Coordinate and organize lawsuit solutions development of fatal, difficult and typical cases, and inspect the implementation
• Coordinate the relationship of inside and outside in dealing with fatal legal affairs
• Exam and approve lawsuit deputy and lawsuit fees
• Provide legal consultation to COMPANY country system to solve legal problems and/or prevent risks
• Provide training courses to COMPANY country system to popularize legal common sense
• Direct to conduct legal manual for COMPANY employees to protect their legal rights and interests
• Contribute to intellectual property protection
• Assist Areas, Clusters and Stations to select qualified third party lawyer office/ lawyer to meet their business needs

• Clearly define department role, responsibility and performance targets for the function
• Plan, organise and direct an efficient and effective function
• Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility and cost consciousness
• Develop a team spirit and multitasking capabilities within the team
• Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets
• Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance, including coaching, and conduct performance appraisal
• Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department

Requirements:
• Communication skills (English), spoken and written

• 8-10 legal experiences
• Experience of the global and local legal environment
• Internal Legal experiences preferred

• Degree (or equivalent) Master Degree preferred
• Lawyer licences•
