ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:Highly motivated individual to support initial EHS integration of a brand new manufacturing facility and provide subsequent local EHS leadership to growing Environmental Energy business in Asia. The ideal candidate for this functional EHS position must have strong International technical knowledge, global leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to simulate information quickly. As a member of the EHS team, responsibilities will include implementation of GE EHS Programs, policies, and requirements, ensuring coordination and completion of EHS Training, of incident investigation and reporting / recordkeeping management systems, and compliance with local governmental regulatory requirements supporting both Fixed Facilities and Customer Site Activities.
* Drive GE Corporate and Business EHS programs initiatives Framework training & coaching, verification, business review and audit protocols
* Implement vision and integrated strategy to ensure Customer and GE EHS expectations are met
* Continued development and Implementation of Integrated EHS Metrics
* Lead efforts to develop comprehensive analysis to enhance EHS productivity and compliance
* Analyze and Drive EHS process improvement & best practice sharing
* Tollgate and prioritize EHS initiatives while simplifying current EHS Processes
* Provide Leadership of EHS tool development and technology application
* Provide EHS Leadership to key field service operations and fixed facility personal
* Participate in Program Reviews and focused EHS Assessments of Customer Sites.
* Drive Risk Minimization and EHS programs using Six
-Sigma Process
* Assist in the development and delivery of training workshops, best practice tools and communication products.
* Support in developing and implementing the global CEP/GEE compliance strategyQUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors Degree (Technical / Engineering preferred)
* Knowledge and Expertise in Field Services
* Detailed knowledge of EHS requirements and compliance implementation experience
* Customer and Quality focus
* Strong communication skills (written and oral)
