The firm is an established manager of alternative assets primarily focused on investing in China with over $500 million in assets under management. The firm manages one of the most successful China-focused hedge funds in terms of duration and strength of track record. The investment team at the firm utilizes a bottom-up investment approach with an intense focus on value. This involves in-depth fundamental research for all long and short positions, which includes reviewing public financial filings, third party research and, most importantly, proprietary research through meetings with management teams and other industry sources.
The firm primary office is in the U.S. with an expanding office in Hong Kong, and looking to build another office in Shanghai.
Description of opportunity
－The firm is seeking an intelligent, curious and motivated candidate for the role of financial analyst. The analyst will work directly with senior members of the portfolio management team in performing intensive investment research on public and private Chinese companies. The analyst will also review news and sell side research on a daily basis on selected industries and companies for the portfolio managers. The analyst will be exposed to companies across multiple industries and sectors. While the analyst will be given clear direction by the portfolio managers, a successful analyst will be self-motivated and independent and have the ability to search for and find information independently. The analyst should also have strong written and oral communication skills in order to successfully disseminate information in a timely and useful manner.X(r5r `'hk

The analyst will also assist in business development efforts, primarily assisting in capital raising efforts. This includes the preparation of marketing materials and assisting in investor communications.
