Responsibilities:
1.Translate and draft papers/documents in English or Chinese
2.Edit and translate the internal communication files into English or Chinese
3.Interpret for international team from Best Buy or foreign visitors and other spoken or written communication jobs
4.Interpret speeches of expatriate colleagues during government meetings, press conversations and in
-store hiring.
5.Creation and translation of all kinds of internal documents (With Expatriates instructions)
6.Interpret Daily coaching and recognition to Store Staff for Expatriates. Assisting Expatriates with learning Chinese cultural norms to facilitate effective coaching.
7.Interpret interactions with customers in regards to sales opportunities or customer service related issues.
8.Be on call for Expatriates 24 hours daily during personal activities to translate questions, comments, concerns of medical nature, leisure and any other circumstance if needed. This will help with lifestyle adjustments.
9.Help visit competition to analyze CE reaction of Best Buy entering the China Market, to collect pricing data, services data and customer service data.
10.Provide additional Chinese language coaching for Expatriates so that they can function ongoing.1
1.Acts as a liaison between Expatriates and all store staff. Conducts employee morale interviews to keep Expats abreast on the feelings of all store employees.Reports these directly and only to the Expats.1
2.Translators schedule completely mirrors assigned Expatriates schedule unless approved by Expatriate.Requirements:
1.Bachelor degree with study/working experience abroad or Master degree in English
2.Relevant oral and written translation working experience
3.Skilled in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
4.Effective interpersonal and communications skills and ability to interact tactfully with people of all levels.
5.with high carefulness and responsibilities
6.Keep confidential information in secret with high integrity
7.Excellent simultaneous translation abilities are prefer
