The OpportunityAn opportunity has arisen to join a new Shanghai Office of an international supply chain manager as the Office Accountant. Reporting directly to the Shanghai based Managing Director, the Accountant will accept certain responsibilities for the successful set up of the China Office. Key functions will include but not be limited to:Setting up the company accounting system and company licensing.Establishing accounting policies and ensuring that they are followed in the new office.Working with other team members to build a national network of suppliers to the Construction industry in Europe.The CandidateThe suitable candidate will have proven Accounting skills and be able to work independently with local authorities to ensure appropriate reporting is completed. A good team player that is highly organised, excellent attention to detail will need to be demonstrated and the successful candidate will be able to take on a broad range of responsibilities. A good command of spoken and written English is required for this position. The RewardsCompensation will be closely related to the performance of the individual and the company. A basic salary will be negotiable.
