By capturing, processing, and rendering high-definition (HD) and standard-definition (SD) content, Marvell s digital entertainment products deliver video at up to full high-definition 1080p resolution with superb clarity and accuracy. With an outstanding price/performance advantage, the Marvell HD digital entertainment products will be key components in the following applications:- Blu-ray/HD-DVD players and recorders - Portable media player DTV docks - Digital media adapters - High-definition set-top boxes - Video processor boxes - A/V receivers - Digital TVs ResponsibilitiesIn this position, the candidate will be responsible for validaition of high-definition video and advanced audio set-top boxes, Blu-ray/HD-DVD players and recorders on Marvell silicons. His/her responsibilities will include but not be limited to- Be key members of a validation teams of validaiton engineers and technicians.- Implement test suites for digital entertainment platforms (software, hardware and silicon), follows the design from validation engineers.- Implement test automation systems, follows the design from validation engineers.- Eexecute validation and defect management activities, and help debugging, follows the plans from validation team leader. QualificationsThe candidate must possess a College of Science degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science with 1+ year relevant expereince, or Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science with 1+ year relevant experience, or equivalent.Additional qualifications include: - Experience in software/hardware validation is a must.- Experience in high-definition video and advanced audio system is a plus.- Application programming in embedded Linux or WindowsCE is a plus.- Experinece in software/hardware validation automation is a plus.- Interpersonal influence experience in multi-national company is a plus.
