rer of democratic designer furniture. The company has launched an unconvention
al talent support program and a new collection of items "Metamorfosi" designed
by young designers - ‘first-timers' on the industrial production scene. Deta
's in-built capacity for innovation combined with excellence of function and f
orm led to rapid growth on national and international markets.
Thanks to the art direction of Edoardo Carlino, an emergent figure on the desi
gn scene, Deta has consolidated its design-oriented approach. A multi-cultural
approach, receptive to developments in art, fashion and lifestyles has led to
a gallery of landmark contemporary design items.
Deta combines advanced technology with traditional craft skills. And ingenious
use of a wide palette of colours. Deta is synonymous with continual experimen
tation with materials exploring how to create new distinctive skins for its pr
oduct range. The Company has always blended age-old craft traditions hailing f
rom its region of Italy - Calabria - with new inputs from distant lands. Local
features are translated into a global language that speaks to the emotions an
d the intellect.

O u r c o r p o r a t e s t r u c t u r e
Deta’s production structure currently consists of two units all of which are
located in the South of Italy, in the Province of Cosenza. These units include
our headquarter, company showroom and production facilities, spread over a to
tal area of about 10,000 square meters.
Based on an internalization strategy focused on emergent markets Deta is going
to set up local offices in Hong Kong and Dubai.

Deta is searching for a person who can be responsible as a Quality Controller
for the sourcing process handled by the company in China. The ideal candidate
should be a person (male or female) who can speak English and is graduated or
graduating in Architecture or Industrial Engineering or Industrial Design loca
ted in Guangdong Province.
The selected candidate will attend a six-months training period in the corpora
te headquarter in Italy that would take the form of an internship. Subsequentl
y the person will be hired in the local office the company is going to set up
in China.
K e y A c c o u n t a b i l i t I e s :
• Verifying the production process and quality standard.
• Visiting the new suppliers and conduct the supplier assessment as wel
l as the samples checks.
• Shipment inspection.
• Assisting the buyer in ordering and pricing decisions. Skills, Knowle
dge and Experience required.
• Bachelor degree in Architecture or Industrial Engineering major.
• Good products knowledge in Consumer Furniture is an advantage.
• Willing to travel frequently.
• Excellent Oral and Written English and Good communicating skills
