Job title: Qualitative Researcher

Key Responsibilities
The Qualitative Researcher is responsible for learning the following elements
in order to develop as a member of Client Service:
• acting as liaison between the Client and essentials on project-related
issues with supervision, ensuring that Client needs are being met
• day to day involvement with projects for his/her clients, including
o drafting proposals,
o questionnaire design,
o supervising the conduct of field work by fieldwork agencies,
o moderation of consumer groups in research projects,
o interpretation and development of recommendations,
o preparation of presentations of findings.
• attending presentations with senior account team members
• assisting in overall office requirements especially with regard to mul
timedia and Internet applications
• providing support to senior team members as required
Qualifications
• Education:
Graduate of any Bachelor of Science course from an accredited university in Ch
ina or abroad. Preferably with an Economics, marketing degree or related cours
es.
• Personality Traits:
Initiative, productive, presentable, a team player, logical thinker and high e
nthusiasm to market research, enjoy travel
• Ability:
Good problem solving skill, communication skills, analysis, flexibility, Indep
endence
• Language Skill:
Proficiency in Mandarin and English communication skills
• Computer Skill:
Familiar with MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Job title: Quantitative Researcher

We are looking for talented personnel combining a technical, scientific and co
mmercial profile.
Key Responsibilities:
• acting as liaison between the Client and essentials on project-related
issues with supervision, ensuring that Client needs are being met
• day to day involvement with projects, including
o drafting proposals,
o questionnaire design,
o supervising the conduct of field work by fieldwork agencies,
o supervising the implementation of technological standards in fieldwork (Comp
uter Aided Interviewing, Videographing…)
o data processing and analysis in quantitative research projects,
o interpretation and development of recommendations,
o preparation of presentations of findings.
• attending presentations with senior account team members
• assisting in overall office requirements especially with regard to mul
timedia and Internet applications
• providing support to senior team members as required
• training a quantitative data processing assistant after base procedure
s of data processing are implemented.
Qualifications
The following skills are essential:
• Graduate of any bachelor or master of science course from an accredite
d university in China or abroad. Preferably with a degree in statistics, psych
ology, sociology, mass-communication or related courses.
• Strong analytical skills,
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Powerpoint, Excel in particular),
• Knowledge of statistical procedures, like significance testing, knowle
dge of SPSS data analysis software
• Basic knowledge and readiness to learn on the job about multivariate s
tatistical procedures and their application in marketing research,
• Good understanding of modern computer based communication technology (
Internet applications, Website design) are an advantage,
• Basic programming skills are an advantage to supervise freelance progr
ammers and to assist in the commercialisation of in-house developed software t
ools,
• Interest in image processing (e.g. Photoshop) is an advantage
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Commercial awareness
• Good command of English, both written and verbal
