JOB DESCRIPTION
The Multi-Vendor Verification service verifies if a solution, multi-vendor interface, or terminal will work properly in the customer specific live environment. This is done as pre-integration testing in a laboratory or as tests performed early in the network rollout process in the customer's live environment. The service can also be applicable for verifying generic interoperability between different vendors.
As a MVV engineer you will have the following responsibility:
Preparing/reviewing MVV Test Plan and Test Specification
Collecting information regarding Test Execution
Single Point of Contact for assigned tests during Test Execution
Customer Interface during Test Execution
Co-coordinating tasks during Laboratory Set-up and Test Execution
Management and administration of tools
Reporting of project progress
Preparation and reviewing of MVTV Final Report Performance is measured on customer satisfaction and cost effective fulfilment of assignments.
QUALIFICATION
Candidate should have the following qualification, skills and/or experiences:
- Bachelor degree in Telecom Communications Engineering.
- Understanding of cellular Telecommunication networks and technologies on various networks and systems (GSM, GPRS, UMTS).
- Understanding of telecommunication standards and recommendations
- Generic knowledge and handling skills regarding interfaces and protocols, knowledge in tools like NetHawk.
- Good knowledge and handling skills in a defined 2/2.5G node type (Radio Access Network, Core Network or Packet Network) and mobile terminals
- Business competence to use internal technical information according to Ericsson policies and procedures
- General understanding competitor handling according to Ericsson policies
- Soft skills: high motivation; high negotiation skills; high communication skills willing to take initiative and work independently.
- Good command of English (verbal and written)
