Job Sub-Title Senior Software Engineer for VSE management tools

Job Description:
This position requires an engineer who can develop a high level of technical e
xpertise in the components of management solutions, including both managed nod
e instrumentation and management console GUI applications. The candidates wil
l be working as part of a team which includes engineers in the United States.

The person will join HP's team creating the Virtual Server Environment (VSE);
this engineer will design and implement tools for VSE system management which
allow customers to deploy and use virtualization technology throughout the ext
ended enterprise. Activities will include:
– Development, delivery, and maintenance of software products.
– Customer support; working with customers to resolve complex issues that are
difficult to diagnose remotely.
– Application debugging and performance optimization.

Job Requirements & Skills Required
– Bachelor degree or equivalent in computer science or engineering related ar
ea.
– 2+ years of work experience in software development.
Have programming experience on Java, C++ and Unix
– Excellent English and communication skills (written and verbal).
– Excellent problem solving skills;
– Customer support experience is a plus
– Must have
 C, C++;
 development on UNIX experience (e.g. Socket, IPC…etc);
– Web-app development including HTML generation
– Familiar with Java programming;
– Ajax experience is a plus
