We are a Chinese affiliate of a well-known and highly respected US-based hedge fund with over US$=9 billion in assets under management. Currently we have one internship opportunity for top students from China\'s best universities (top 2 only).
The major task for this position is to study research papers and then to present to our analysts the contents of those research papers.
Candidates for this intern position must:
- Be PhD students majoring in Finance or Financial Engineering from China’s best universities. A background of Science/Engineering is a big plus.
- Be fluent in English (as all relevant research papers are in English).
- Have a research scientist mindset, i.e., be a deep thinker, creative, persevering, smart, a self-starter, etc.
- Have a strong interest in learning about worldwide financial markets.
- Be able to work 20~30 hours per week on average; it is not necessary to be present in the office except to make presentations.
