1. Software Engineer, J2ME – Marvell Shanghai:

Marvell-Shanghai is seeking Software Engineer to take a primary role in the
development of Java-based next generation multimedia consumer electronics.

Keywords:

Embedded Java, J2ME, XML, C/C++


Primary Responsibilities:

Architect and develop the Java-based components of the next
generation set top box.

Contribute to system-level architectural discussions, provide
feedback on requirements, design, and test documents.



Qualifications:

MS/BS in Computer Science preferred

3+ years of hands-on software industry experience, with Embedded
Java, J2ME, C/C++, XML background

A good system level understanding

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The following experience is plus:

Experience with interactive TV applications or platforms

MHP, BD, HDDVD

UI development skills, particularly AWT and 2D graphics experience

Familiarity with Multi-threaded, TCP/IP network programming

Real-time programming experience with audio and/or video processing
in set top box or other embedded systems

Experience in performance tuning, optimization


2. Software Engineer, Embedded – Marvell Shanghai:

Marvell-Shanghai is seeking Software Engineer to take a primary role in the
development of next generation multimedia consumer electronics.

Primary Responsibilities:

Architect and develop the next generation set top box product

Contribute to system-level architectural discussions, provide
feedback on requirements, design, and test documents.
