Job Description:
An Assistant Software Engineer assists in the development, delivery and management of technology-based business solutions. An Assistant Software Engineer has some experience in coding, testing and implementing configuration changes and assisting in the design of software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities may include:
Supporting the technical design process by participating in the analysis of technical application requirements;
Assisting in implementing analyses that will identify requirements related to people, processes and technology;
Participating in implementing the technical infrastructure, including networks, platforms and servers, enterprise enabling, application enabling, security and operations management;
Assisting in the integration of technical and application components to meet business requirements;
Coding and testing program modules that meet design specifications; assisting in design;
Maintaining, tuning and repairing applications to keep them performing according to technical and functional specifications; providing user support;
Participating in execution and documentation of tests necessary to ensure that an application or technical environment meets performance requirements;
Executing conversion plans and document possible improvements; identifying disruptions in the processes

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree, good academic performance in one of following preferred majors:
- Computer Science/Computer Engineering /Software Engineering/Information Systems or related majors
- English (major) + IT (minor)
(Notes: Anyone good at computer software and English, eager to develop himself/herself into IT career, though not belongs to the majors above, is also appreciated)
Mandatory Skills(technology/versions):
Programming language – Cobol, Java, C, C++, C# or Visual Basic;
Development environment – Java IDE (JBuilder, VisualAge for Java/WSAD, Forte for Cobol, Java, Visual Café), Visual Studio .NET;
Development using an RDBMS – Oracle, SQL Server, Informix, DB2/UDB;
Understanding of principles of the software development lifecycle

Professional Skill Requirements:
Good verbal and written skills in English (CET 4 and above preferred);
Ability to work as a team member;
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment;
Desire to work in an information systems environment;
Good oral and written communication skills
Flexibility
