ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Core team member of Lighting restructuring team, to drive and implement Lighting strategic initiatives per '06 play book.
* Understand product portfolios. Identify and prioritize opportunities, provide finished product or component outsourcing solutions to meet both product requirement and productivity goals.
* Take lead, with support from the Sourcing Organization and other necessary functions to identify and qualify sources/partners in best-cost locations. Execute the necessary business structure including JDA's and or JV's.
* Work with technology, quality engineers, program managers, fulfillment managers and product management to implement supplier validation projects, setup new suppliers.
* Work with finance to evaluate project expense and paybacks.
* Work with legal, maintain contracts with identified suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree.
* Six sigma certification.
* Strong communication skill.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Able to work with diverse cultures.
* Willing to travel to international supplier locations.

DESIRED:
* Sourcing experience desirable.
