Definition:

HP defines Identity Management (IdM) as:

“The set of people, processes and technologies supporting the creation, maintenance, and termination of a digital identity for people, systems and services to enable secure access to services, systems and applications.”

Note that IdM is not just technology, but encompasses people and processes. HP IdM is a ‘Business-driven’ approach that uses technology to automate the provisioning/deprovisioning of digital identities. In terms of the Adaptive Enterprise, IdM provides User Lifecycle Management that aligns IT with business, improves security through policy enforcement, and increase agility and decrease cost through automation.

We currently are looking to expand our 3rd Level development and support team. The Support team will comprise of 3rd levels and will cover a 24x7 model.

Job Description:

Overall Role:

The Client Consultant will understand the HP Adaptive Enterprise strategy and the role that IdM plays. IdM affects enterprise user lifecycle, security, and infrastructure. Hence, the role of a Client Consultant requires a unique combination of business skills, security knowledge, and developer skills. For the various customer audience, the Client Consultant must be comfortable discussing:

- IdM Strategy and its Business Value to CxOs;

- Business Implications to Business Unit Managers;

- Architecture Impacts and Information Flow to IT Managers;

- Privacy Concerns to HR; and

- Application design to Developers.

The Client Consultant will clearly communicate how an Enterprise IdM Strategy provides a high Return-On-Investment (ROI) by solving business problems faced by the CxOs and business owners. This is a departure from the mostly “speeds and feeds” selling of the past.

Finally, the Client Consultant will have a solid understanding of at least one vertical industry segment, current market trends, and competitors. The IdM Client Consultant will be responsible for influencing, managing, and responding to RFx and delivering the IdM Proof-of-Concepts (PoC).

You will originally be responsible for the 3rd Level of support for the HP OV Suite. In order to accomplish the 3rd Level of support, you will need a good understanding of all products that are part of the OV Suite. You will also need to have strong Java development, troubleshooting and communication skills.

As the busiest periods of support currently occur during Americas and Europe’s peak hours, you are likely to work during periods of time that are outside Shanghai’s regular business hours.

As you gain experience and further develop your skills, exciting opportunities will materialize. As future projects are defined, and based on your talents and interests, you may see your role evolving, and be assigned higher support and/or development responsibilities.

Qualifications
Job Requirement

Education, skills, experience:

Strong troubleshooting skills

Strong communication skills

Flexible and adaptable

Fast learner and able to understand complex systems thoroughly

Experience with UNIX operating systems is strongly desirable

Experience with Java, J2EE and Java Web technologies is strongly desirable

Experience with UML and XML and SOAP is strongly desirable

Experience with relational databases (Oracle9i+ and SQL 2000+) and Data Warehouse is desirable

Knowledge of Shell programming is desirable

Familiar with one of following web technologies:

- IIS

- Sun Web and Application Servers

- Apache2 and Tomcat

- BEA WebLogic

- IBM WebSphere

Familiar with one of following application Server:

- BEA Weblogic

- IBM WebSphere

- Apache Tomcat

Job requirements:

Fluent oral English and excellent written English

University degree or equivalent experience

Flexible on working hours

Strong team player
