Job description
This position is responsible for ensuring Mobile Division抯 ODM partners executing our test strategy and plan flawlessly. The test strategy includes ODM performing 100% test plan on schedule, supporting debug effort, and providing Post Mortem data to have a complete test execution responsibility. The test plan includes, but not limited to: Software Integration, Hardware Evaluation and BIOS testing throughout development and sustaining cycles.
Located at ODM China sites to ensure testing standards, processes and methodology are followed. You will support Houston抯 test teams to provide training to ODMs or CDC testers. Work with ODM Engineers to ensure proper tests, and accurate procedures to be performed in each phase of development. Compile failure rate data on key issues and recommend test procedure to duplicate the issues. Provide confidence levels regarding product maturity. Resolve conflicting test reports from multiple test sites. Must be able to track, monitor and report on issues. Assist in recommending severity and the scope of those issues. Interface with development teams on reported issues to adequately demonstrate and provide information. Advise management in planning for new technologies. Review, evaluate, develop and promote new processes. Understand new features and methods of utilizing the added product functionality.
Qualifications
Experience and Skills:
昅ust be able to project manage test teams at different ODM sites.

昅ust have strong communication skills, which also includes verbal and written English capabilities.
昅ust be able to support multiple functions when needed.
旳bility to manage multiple concurrent tasks, projects and priorities.
昐trong organizational and time-management skills.
旹xcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
昅ust be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
昅ust be able to analyze data, present key facts and make sound recommendations.
昅ust be willing to travel.
旹xperience with configuration and setup of PCs, peripherals and software.
旹xperience in software programming and/or hardware debugging preferred.
昐trong sense of urgency and sense of ownership required.
旳bility to maintain high performance in a fast paced environment.
旸emonstrated ability to make risk assessments and apply judgment in unique situations
昅ust be flexible on working hours, in order to communicate with HP Houston teams
