UELC is located in the tallest and most prestigious building in Guangzhou, CITIC Plaza. This location befits the Centre’s developing reputation as a high quality provider of educational services and English language programs.
The Centre operates under the auspices of the Utahloy Education Foundation, which also administers the Utahloy International School Guangzhou and the Utahloy International School ZengCheng (both IB World Schools). The Centre therefore has access to a pool of highly qualified and experienced staff across a range of specialist subjects and disciplines from pre-school to tertiary levels.
The Centre’s programs and operations are based on decades of educational experience. The people who direct and manage the Centre are highly experienced and qualified educationalists, not sales managers. We do not have a sales quota system and we do not employ sales consultants. After thorough assessments we provide specialised programs that meet the needs of individuals and small groups.
Teaching English to a range of clients is a significant part of our operation. Our teachers understand that English is best learnt by using it not by learning about it. An integrated approach to learning language is emphasised at all times by our teachers and is evident in all our programs.
