Researchers in the Media Communication Group leverage their expertise in audio
/video compression, image processing, networking, user interface, and database

and information workers. The group's research is used across the realm of comm

Roles & Responsibilities：We are recruiting interns to work on an innovative a
nd challenging software project.

Required Qualifications：We are looking for

1. Ph.D or M.Sc candidate. We need his/her advisor's signing to permit him/her
to be an intern of MSRA.

2. This is a three-month full-time internship, which may be extended based on
project needs.

3. Research or development background in networking or multimedia. Being famil
iar with TCP/IP, NAT, firewall, Internet multicasting, network simulation, etc
, is a plus.

4. Solid C/C++ programming skill. Experience with socket programming, thread p
rogramming is a plus.

5. Good oral and written English.
