Job description
Under the supervision of one of ERAI's Representative, the Project Executive will be in charge of promoting Rhone-Alpes Enterprises' products or services, in the field of automotive parts. These enterprises will be referred to as"vendors"below. In daily relationship with the vendors in France, he or she will have to fulfil the following tasks:
1.Market study
Assisting the vendors in registering their company names and trademarks, getting approval for certain products in accordance with the Chinese law and registering domain names on the Internet;
Providing marketing intelligence in China by analyzing and monitoring the market of automotive parts: clients, suppliers, competitors (benchmarking in terms of price, products, distribution channels, equipment, manning levels, technology, customer references, etc.);
2.Prospecting
Building a customer / supplier database through to various documentation sources;
In the field prospecting of potential customer / supplier (both local and foreign enterprises established in China) through phoning, mailing, visiting, attendance of trade fairs, etc.;
3.Marketing
Assisting the vendors in designing catalogues, advertising, etc.;
Translating project related brochures as well as technical, marketing & sales documentation;
4.Business development
Providing pre-sales technical advice to the prospective customers;
Supporting the vendors'existing clients in China and potentially Asia;
Identifying distribution channels and local partners;
Establishing and facilitating the communication between the vendors' and the clients' R&D departments;
Translating and clarifying the clients'inquiries and RFQ from local prospective customers to the vendors;
Undertaking negotiations with local customers;
Securing orders by assessing the financial situation of the prospects and following up the payments to the vendors;
5.Reporting and administration
Organizing the vendors / buyers'visiting programs in China;
Filling in and updating the vendors' CRM database;
Providing support during the setup process of subsidiaries by the vendors;
making a weekly reporting towards the vendors / buyers;
Monthly accounting of the project.
Candidate's profile
Applicants should show the following qualities:
Bear the Chinese nationality
Have at least a bachelor degree in mechanics or automotive
Have substantial technical experience in automotive
Have an experience in sales towards car makers or car part manufacturers
Be fluent in both Chinese and English (French being a plus)
Be ready to travel frequently in China
Have a good salesperson's temper
Be open minded
Be a team player
